Describe your personal style and where you draw style inspiration for A Little Dash of Darling.
Caitlin: I would describe my personal style as feminine and classic with a little edge. I love mixing prints and textures for a flirty mix. I like to draw inspiration from everything around me, from the colors in nature to street style. The Internet is also a really great source when you need a shot of inspiration.
What is your favorite way to wear hats this season?
Caitlin: I am loving floppy-brimmed hats and Panama hats this season, which you can see me wearing time and time again on my blog. They make any ensemble look so polished and chic, and they are perfect for protecting my skin!
Whose closet would you hijack?
Caitlin: If I could hijack anyone's closet, it would definitely be Diane Kruger's! She is so stylish and always so put together. I just envy her closet full of splurge-worthy staples!
If you had to choose one accessory to take with you on a deserted island, what would it be?
Caitlin: It would, of course, be my wide-brimmed straw hat to protect my skin from those harsh rays! As I've gotten older, I've learned the importance of keeping the sun off of my face.
What topper tip would you give to your girlfriends?
Caitlin: Wear a hat because it makes you feel chic and goes well with your outfit, not just to hide a bad hair day. While hats work great for that, too, they can be the perfect finishing touch to any outfit!
Which of our hats best fits your style?
Caitlin: I love this Panama hat. It's perfect for a day at the beach here in San Diego, or it would be a great topper to an easy-breezy outfit.
What is your favorite summer escape?Caitlin: This summer, I am looking forward to my husband's and my escape to Europe after finishing the California Bar in July. I will definitely be bringing a few hats along to add a finishing touch to my European-chic outfits.
